I have a buyer finally for my 3 rims and tires (stock) 18's. But he only wants the tires. Is it possible to unmount tires at home? If so whats the easiest way?

Sure, it's possible, but unless you have a tire machine you would have to try to do it with a tire spoon and a hammer. Trust me, you don't want to do this if you don't have to--it is NOT easy and you will almost certainly damage the tire and/or the rim in the process.

Take them to a tire shop and have them demounted-most shops I have been to only charged about $5 a wheel to have the tire taken off.

Is this guy buying the tires and the rims but only keeping the tires?

I've seen Mexican kids do it with a hammer and chisel... of course thev reseated the bead, and inflated the tire using only gasoline and a match...but that's another post.

Yeah that one is fun!

Take em to a tire shop. You'll end up hurting the bead, the rim, and yourself.
