[help] Disable and removal of passenger airbag

I have a project I'm conjuring up and there is one thing that stands in my way. The passanger airbag. What I want to do is completely remove the airbag and cover.

Sooo, question is:

How do I disable the airbag and remove it, with out setting it off?

I know one person here had installed two lcd monitors in an enclosure in front of the airbag, but I'm almost positive that it was disabled or removed. But he has sold his VX a awhile back on ebay, and hasn't been on vx.info for awhile.

yeah, I was actually looking at that after I posted. Was hoping someone has done it and can throw some pointers here and there...

I know what you mean...I'd like an aftermarket steering wheel, but I'd be a bit apprehensive removing the air bag.
