Although I like the neat DIN-space cup holders that have recently been installed by others here, I did not want to give up my "still working" CD changer space. Plus, from what I have read, those DIN-space units will not hold a good-size coffee cup/mug.
So, I just got the new 2007 master catalog from Boaters World and spotted these black plastic cup holders that can be mounted to any flat surface. They come in two sizes, one that will just hold a 12 oz drink can, and another larger one that can hold larger cups/mugs. After a qucik trip to the local store, I drill a few small holes in the flat area of the console tray, and I have a nice solid mounted cup holder that safely holds my trusty stainless steel coffee mug.
Note that the smaller holder will need some trimming to fit into the smaller square area of the console next to the arm rest.
Cost: less than $10.00 for the pair.
