so, not sure who this person is, but i know this is the second auction they've had for a pair of oem NEW headlight assy's.

i snatched em' up (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=008&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=180086778742&rd=1,1) this time, for a good price too.

my existing ones are okay, in good shape - but started to *slighly* fade at the very top about a 1-2 inches down (about even/down to our headlight's horn). anyways, bugged me just enough i suppose...

won't need the existing ones soon - so for anyone interested i'd like to sell them here first before throwing them up on eBay. like a good vx.info citizen I checked with the 'wanted' forum before posting this opportunity here.

anyho - anyone interested please pm me.

-beej.

p.s. - i'll offer up some pix tomorrow, but will be later in the day (gotta git in my snowboarding. ha.)

congrats... I was gonna bid on them, to put them on a shelf, then forgot. Good thing,I'd hate to bid against you. I'll get the next set, maybe just go to Isuzu.

I was the second highest bidder on those. I was not willing to pay more than $400 for them. My bad! I tried to polish my headlights..but over did the sand paper process (forgot the "gently" part). So whenever you are ready to get rid off your "old" ones, please let me know!

BIJU: what happened to the right hand side headlight?

Indiana VX: I'll try again to polish them and see what happens. Thank you for offering to do it for me...but I would be w/o headlights for a while....and I don't have a spare car ;eeko; ;eeko;

Guys, please re-read IndianaVX thread on Headlight polishing, and worst case, read my write up on Zen and the art of Headlight Polishing. It does work. It's just a case of making the scratches finer and finer by using less and less abrasive compounds. You can save yourself a bunch of money. But what ever you do, DO NOT throw the old ones away, or throw them at IndianaVX or me. We will refinish them and keep them for when someone really needs a replacement.

...by all means. however - if you're lazy, crunched for time, or your time is worth more than the trouble - might wanna give my passenger assy a shot.

Hey fam...

The passenger headlight assy didn't sell the first time so I dropped the price on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260097048466) .

So if purchased through vx.info I'll do 125 shipped. just need to sell it as it's taking up space like the other stuff i've sold recently.

Biju,

I just bought it through Ebay. I sent you the $145 (hopefully you can credit me the $20 shipping charge). Just send me a check when you deliver the headlight.

Now, who has a decent driver's side headlight available???

I'll mail a check (the unit is already all boxed up). Item will ship via DHL. I'll provide you a tracking number via PM on Monday...

Thanks!
