JL AUDIO XA-PBTC-1/0 (ebay $39, or from a JL supplier for $69)

The ANL BLOCK came with the JL AUDIO XA-PCS4-1 amp kit

The Fused Distribution Block is a STREETWIRES CBR44A

Well I finally put these on after being on the shelf since fall (still a work in progress though..). I saw these on Biju's Dragon last year and had to have them :_drool: .

And I found out the hard way that the (+) size terminal does not fit well on the smaller (-) battery lug. :smack: OH SNAP!.

JL Audio is coming out with a new model so it was a bit tough to find a the (-) terminal for this older discontinued model at a reasonable cost... So I tried a second (+) terminal and rushed it and broke it. I should have used a shim...

I really like to the look but they have many weak points if you're not careful. Aside from what I broke, the plastic is also quite fragile and the clear top could come off if the puny tabs broke. Also, if you're not careful, the set screws to bind the wire into the ring terminals could go all the way into to the terminal if there is too much void around the wire. The screws could also vibrate loose if not properly set (I used a bit of locktite).

Here's a pic of the new model...

I think the top can screw on and it looks like it might have a more robust wire termination method...

Poor negative terminal is feeling quite ugly now :( .

Great work Kenny! Love the look man. very nice. I wish we had chatted more about those positive terminals... I could have/should have shared the issue with the cracking. I'm very sorry I didn't - and sorry you had to learn that first hand. My bad.

On the positive tho - nice work! Wanna create me a metal 'base' like you have for your ANL fuse holder?! :p  :p

...it's sooo hard to keep up (mods) with this guy!!!
