I'm planning to buy a www.vehicross.info decal for my VX (rear window)
I was quoted $20 shipped for a 4" H x 20" L

The font that I suggested is called "Sidewalk" (go to http://www.dafont.com/ to see the samples)

http://www.dafont.com/search.php?q=sidewalk&nb_ppp_old=10&page=1&text=www.vehicross.info&nb_ppp=10&classt=alpha

Any suggestions/interest?

I would put one on my VX

The motorbikey forum I belong to has them, and it's a great tool to bring people to the site who are curious, interested, and when you see people in a VX and wave and they give you a blank stare, at least they will know you are part of the "club."

I think it's a nice idea, although, to play both sides of the fence, I'm not sure I'd use one.

It's not a bad idea.
I would put something like that on / near my license plate.
I don't like the "drive it like you stole" line on the current .info version.
Or maybe a static one to put inside the window, along the lower strip (with windows closed). Everyone looks inside when they look at one.

$20 is about right depending on the material. I would suggest the 'official' font for the site - USUZI that can be downloaded from the site.

I like the idea, but I think the sidewalk font is gonna be way too hard to read (although I do like the look of it!)

I had lots of "tatoos" on my Xterra. But now with the VX, I just can't bring myself to stick anything on it. Its too pretty and all black and clean and stealthy...

insert $.02...

i'd agree with Tone. my vote would go to the site's 'official' font.

if not, something along the lines of helvetica neue - big fan!

I kinda like the sidewalk look. Only if you were gauranteed it would be legible.

But factory font is cool too.

One thing to keep in mind since you mentioned it for the window. The bottom of the text fades, giving its effect...well on a computer the "faded" part is clear or the background color. The only way this font would look good in your application I think is if it were printed on clear sticker stock.
