Non VX related thread:
Yesterday, I received a email from "PayPal" that looked just like a PayPal email wanting to 'restore your account access'. Well, rather then click on the link in the email, I went to their web page the normal way. logged on to their security center and asked if it was true.

You got it, it was phishing at it's best. Anyway, I know you like me buy alot of stuff for your beloved VX's using PayPal, so this is just a heads-up for all of you.

CRIME PREVENTION TIP OF THE WEEK:
“Beating the Scammers”
If you receive e-mail from a bank or business that requests any type
of personal information, you can make sure that it is not spam by
simply placing the mouse on the URL address and verifying the
address is correct on the bottom of the computer screen. If the
address on the bottom does not match the URL address, close and
delete the entire e-mail, it is a scam…
Remember, legitimate businesses will NEVER ask for your personal
information via email.

My brother got nailed by one of those scams asking him to verify the information on his e-bay acount. Lucky the credit card charges were covered by the bank.
Laws should be very serious for these scammers but it seems like they get away with it and do it again.
