Vehicross style roof rack on Trooper?

Can anyone tell me more about roof rack options for the late model Troopers?

I have seen three in the Portland, OR area with what appears to be the same yakima roof rack that our Vehicross uses. Unfortunetly I haven't been able to get a close enough look to verify if it is the same and how it mounts to the roof.

But does anyone have any pictures of a Vehicross style rack on a Trooper? And also information on how it mounts?

might try going to a salvage yard, and see if they will let you poke around......

I actually have a Yakima rack for the trooper - I bought it with the intent of seeing if it could be adapted to the VX - unfortunately the cross bars have more curve to them than the VX bars - if you're interested, I'd sell the racks and towers for $50 plus shipping. They are in their original boxes and originally had a snowboard rack for holding a snowboard - mine didn't come with it. All parts are still sealed or wrapped (I pulled the paper off the crossbar but rewrapped when I saw it wouldn't work). If you'd like it they're yours.
