Has any one ordered this (http://www.rocky-road.com/vehicross.html) from the Rocky Road website?.. Wondering about the quality of the shock.
Thanks

I have 2 Troopers with that setup and my VX had (maybe still has, adam?) those shocks and VX springs. I really like OME shocks and they are a quality unit. I've gone through lot of stock shocks (including 2 dead VX shocks) and have yet to have an OME die - knock on wood.

A few of us participated in a fairly extensive review of all the shock options in another thread recently. I don't recall OME shocks being included in that.
I run OME 912 springs with Rancho 9000x shocks which is a fairly popular configuration, but after about 4 years I think I'm due for new shocks. I'm interested in more opinions about the OME's as well.

As Tad mentioned above, my vx (formally his) still has OME's installed and I like them fine. They were installed before I got it so I dont have anything to compare to though.

Does that "complete suspension" pacakge include more than the four shocks and two springs?

You'll also get 6 nice boxes, 4 shock bushing sets and a receipt. Maybe I shouldn't speak for rocky-road but that's what OME offers as a suspension system for Isuzus.

I wrote them and email to see what all comes with it.

I was just wondering, because their only other options are buying the 4 shocks and 2 springs separately...and that adds up to less than the 'complete' price.

Yeah it is like 100 dollars cheaper that way it seems

This is what I got in reply to my email ...
"The kit includes front and rear springs, front and rear shocks.

Now I wasnt aware of any springs in the front... :p ... might be better off ordering everything separate. Saves a hundred dollars
OME offers torsion bars which ARE springs - I assume he means they include those with the kit. I think the OME torsion bars sell for $200.

Well when I think of torsion bars I think of actual bars. I don’t like to ASSUME anything when it comes to 550 dollars.

"Brain deadness. That's what I get for working on a holiday.... no front springs, just front shocks, rear springs, rear shocks."
The last email I recieved.
So that is what comes for our VX from Rocky Roads

So: I'm not trying to be picky here, but a hundred bucks is a hundred bucks.
If I buy those components separately, using their pricing, I'll pay $423.19.
If I buy them together, as a package, I'm paying $523.
Wha' hoppen? Whooza? Whassa?

Might try emailing them. They put the VX page up pretty quickly and may have just made a mistake.

I emailed them and nothing was said about price. I can ask, I noticed other errors on the page so I am sure it may just be an error. No one is perfect, might be nice though.

"You are correct. I can't believe we didn't catch this before. We have made corrections to the website. Sorry for the confusion.

Well the cost is the same now. I wrote to them and they were very fast to respond each time. I am going to order the kit once the Holiday dent fills in.
