Fixed the drivers window! Well, mostly. It goes up and down fairly smooth now, but I really need to change out the track mounting bolts for longer ones and align the lift track. New window motor (which it didn’t need), a lot of grease and spreading...

Got the intake and throttle body gasket changed out. Also cleaned out the EGR tubes. The one inside the instake was completely closed off with carbon gunk. A lot of work, but no change to the idle speed. I guess this is were the VX wants to idle at....

Finally got the Fuel Pressure Regulator (the one on the back of the fuel rail) replaced. Idle has gone from 1800-2000 RPM to 1200 RMP and around 980 RPM when in gear, but not moving. Removing the throttle body now for a cleaning and new gasket.

I think it's likely I didn't participate because I don't remember ANY of the explanation to which you refer. If someone pointed me to a post and said "Thanks. That'll be $20, I'd assume they were joking." OTOH, if it was something easy to find,...

Wish I could help but I've never considered a JDM steering wheel so never had the need to research such information. Have you looked around for any Vehicross websites in Canada, Europe, Russia, etc for additional information? There used to be some...

And since the only people on this forum are all apparently subbed to this thread...does anyone know what types of isuzu clockspring will work with a JDM VX steering wheel? I'd really like to know, so I don't end up having to splice connectors.

Page 6C-2 (pdf page 721) of the shop manual. Looks like it “could be” item 12, Duty Solenoid Valve. But as usual, the manual diagrams are less than clear.

auto-subscriptions to threads probably couldn't hurt. Getting rid of the "myfilestore" glitch/spam/hack would be great.
