Finally got enough free time to completely wrap the truck this week. The weather has been less than cooperative but here is the 99% end result (still need to put emblems back on)

Welcome to the site! This forum was active(ish) over the last year. It goes in waves it seems. Most of the active people here have a lot of insight to give if you have any questions. There is a massive amount of information stored away on this...

Shame. I moved from Clinton UT back in 2017. Never got to meet any VX owners locally or do the Moab pilgrimage. Only got to drive through Moab on the way moving cross-country.

Yeah i'm not on FB so I miss out on the content there. I wish I was around in the VX crowd about 8-10 years ago when it seems people were very active on this site. It appears that this forum is relatively quiet these days. It's all good though.....

Welcome to the addiction. I just flipped my odometer over 100k this week, and it felt like the end of an era. 152k isn't bad at all for 20 years though. Heck, anything under 200k for a 20 year old car is not bad. Now if we could get the FB...

What a great story! Glad it worked out! Very important tip...you MUST check oil very frequently....this engine is well known to consume oil, inconsistently, and sometimes in pretty large quantities. Check it every fill up for a while until you...

Hey I'm Subo from Salt Lake City, UT. I never even knew there was a car called an Isuzu VehiCROSS until a couple weeks ago. I had a listing online to trade my 66 VW Bug and some guy offered to trade for his 99 Isuzu Ironman Edition. After some...

I'd mentioned what the rear speakers were mounted on in my write-up, and there's pics on the forum here as well. I thought you'd already known. lol! I don't think the seat-belt mechanisms front/rear are the same, but I could be wrong. If it's...

Another update: So far the paint is exceeding expectations. It even survived a trip through a car wash. The real test will be scratched from brush and the summer heat. I am confident that it will hold up, but of course I will still keep an eye...

I have been consistently achieving 14.5 to 15.1 MPG out of my VX. Not too bad for a vehicle with almost 180k miles on the clock, a 2.5” lift and 31” tires. I am going to be doing the “blue wire” mod, and putting manual hubs on the VX, with the...
