If this was a pure accident, then this photo is one of the greatest of all time. What are the odds of that? lol

Not handy. I can get a photo posted in the morning, assuming this storm doesn’t know out internet access.

It's been a long time since I replaced my discs, but I don't remember having to cut the tone ring off. The front ring is bolted to the disc itself (see link below), but I can't remember what the rear disc was like. ...

I did not attempt to take the ring yet. But the only way I can get the ring off is to cut it (doesn't look like I can pull the ring off). If you have instructions on how to remove the tone ring, I would definitely love to take a look.

Did you damage the sensor and ring getting it off, or are you looking for how to get it off without breaking anything??

Has anyone ever tried to use the auto lacking hubs from other Isuzu models? Would they even have the correct spline count for the half shafts?

Completely agree. Then again I don’t know this VX has 5 years of life left. I am trying to keep the mechanical part good, no skimping there, so the budget needs shaved elsewhere. I did, finally, get my switch bezel installed in the lower dash...

I hope the wal-trash speakers last more than 5 years. It's not a function of RMS vs the head unit. It's a function of build materials and a resistance to decay/dry-rot over time. That's why those clarion OEM speakers are crap. Paper cones and...

Wonder if the idler pulley is the same one on the 3.2L Trooper engines? Can anyone verify that? Might be easier to find a Trooper part than a VX part even though they are probably the exact same thing.

This stabilizes a lot of other parts. Expensive parts. I would recommend not driving unless it was going to a shop to get rebuilt. Preferably a shop that is close to you. The clunk you hear is probably the main shaft moving back and forth, and I...
