Just ran across this today. No Jeep in the mix--or any Honda/Toyota for that matter. Apparently the only thing that kept the VX from #1 was the interior. :o

If you're going 35" tires or bigger, you'll find the suspension lift maxes out the IFS in order to get enough lift to fit the tires. You can run it this way and I know several VXers who have for years. I opted for 3" body lift + 2" suspension lift...

With a suspension lift you can get 33's in there. With suspension lift and a really big hammer you can get 35's. I currently run 31's with just a coil spring/torsion lift and wish I had gone to 33's. If you go beyond 3" on the front end with a...

I was thinking maybe, just maybe if you pull the hood, pull the top half of the intake and what ever else in the way, take the front wheels off and lower and by crawling around on it like a high school wrestler trying to pin, there might be a chance.

The only method that I'm aware of, is to remove the intake. (you probably need new intake gaskets anyway) Be sure the line(s) you use as replacements are rated for fuel injection use.
