Granted I havn't done this with the VX, I have only had about a month, but before I learned how to do brakes I used to use Midas for brakes all the time. Never had an issue with them, though I never had to use the warrenty as the work and products...

I need new brakes all around. I put R1 Concept rotors, calipers and pads on a few years ago and after 12k miles two calipers have failed and I need to do it again. Anyone go to Pep Boys or Midas or any other similar corporate behemoth for brakes....

While I do plan on doing a rock bumper, timing just isn't right. I do like the idea of buying a spare to cut up just in case.

Selling a few things leftover from my VX 1) OEM grille - tab is broken off on one side but it's definitely functional - again, make an offer 2) OEM headlight assembly - works as far as I know (was given to me when I bought the truck) - make an...

I was at Walmart today with my better half and picked up a new radio antenna. It's more ... floppy ... than the OEM antenna, but still looks good and is a good match for what it replaced. At only $9 I am not complaining.

I am still getting grinding/grating noise out of something in the front axle. I have yet to track that down, could be a stuck caliper, low diff fluid, or even a wheel bearing. Both wheels seem to act the same and it doesn't pull to one side or the...

After searching through the manual, you need to do the following: 1) Make sure the sensor is mounted fully and securely. I assume that means flush. 2) Check the exhaust for leaks 3) You may need a new catalytic converter, it will throw...

This is the second sensor and both of the new ones only screwed in up to that point which is why I was wondering if it has to be flush in order for it to work. Can everybody see that picture or no?

From the manual: If the Bank 2 HO2S 2 signal voltage remains between 400 mV and 500 mV for an extended period of time, DTC P0160 will be set. Heated Oxygen sensors are used to minimize the amount of time required for “closed loop” fuel...

Depending on how long it sat and where it came from, the calipers "could be" seizing. My VX only gets about 3k miles a year so it sits in the garage a lot. I'm also in the mid atlantic, which gets it's fair share of road salts every winter. Due to...
